Minerals and developing Economy

Minerals are natural resources found in earth’s crust. Some are at near surface, others are found buried miles underground. Each has its own specific method of extraction. The method for extracting minerals depends on the presence in certain ore and the surrounding minerals. It also has a strong of connection with the depth and temperature of that mineral surrounding.

Most minerals have been discovered many thousands of years back and their method of extraction is being perfected over time. Surprisingly, some still have primitive methods of extraction and modern day technological marvels don’t seem to bother them even by an inch.

The formation of minerals is still not clearly known and how they are produced, but decomposed fossils and rocks are said to be the reason of the existence of such minerals. Their growth however is at naught, which means minerals are non renewable. This fact has got many experts into worry and steps have been taken to ensure to control un necessary losses and misuse of such minerals. Mines are also heavily regulated for the purpose of making them long lasting as much as possible.
